Baroness Chalker was a panellist at a recent International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC) Annual Conference in Davos, designed within the African context. This year’s conference theme was, “Local Resources - Global Perspectives”. The conference focused on the advanced skills rooted in viable and effective organisations that are essential for supplying state-of-the-art solutions to development challenges. Participants had the opportunity to hear from, and discuss with, different experts in the field of business and engineering and contributed to the work of FIDIC through the different workshops and seminars that were organised.
